More About the Karma of Choice.

In my last blog The Karma of Choice, I have written that in order for unrequited lovers to understand the timeless memory of love experiences and reach where they are stored, in the repository of your soul, you need to do some soul searching. This is where all experiences are recorded. You can become aware of this realm and get access to this through meditation.

Another way is through dreams. Yes, through conscious dream recall it is possible for you to become aware of your inner self. However, this is possible only in a certain phase of your spiritual development. So in this eternity, which is timeless, time is not measured with days, weeks and years but with measurement of events or issues. In timeless eternity everything progresses through a series of cycles, and tasks. When one cycle or task is completed, then a new one begins. This is where being Karma clear becomes important in forming balanced and successful love relationships. As I have written in my blog More About Relationships and Karma, a relationship is a combination of bonds. When you make love, a spiritual bond is formed, which intimately binds the chakras of two individuals. People who are promiscuous are mostly unable to balance their relationships because the chakra cords are being broken constantly. Today, when relationships are formed and broken so frequently, you will need to work hard to become Karma clear after a relationship has ended. This will be a time when you don’t have mental, spiritual, physical or emotional attachment elsewhere. This is when one cycle has ended and you are ready for a new task in your life.

The continuity of spiritual life is timeless. While everyone has a different belief about reincarnation, it is also a common belief that the soul chooses to re-embody into a physical dimension for further expression. According to Hindu mythology, unless one soul has become completely clear of the past Karma, it will keep re-embodying itself to achieve Moksha. In every new situation it will attract the relevant cause and effect pattern that it has set up in the past. This is an ongoing part of our soul development. So the next time you think “why me?”, know that it is a pattern that your soul has set-up in the past and it is your responsibility to come clear of it. When someone rejects your love, instead of whining and crying, know that you need to clear your Karma in order to be ready for a fulfilling relationship. Those of you who have read my blog More About Unrequited Love and Karma, would know that the Karma centre lies within you. The only way to make peace with agony of the past is to make peace with yourself. Once you’ve managed to do that, you’re clear, it’s that simple!

Every life has an order that extends beyond one lifetime of existence. The natural law of cause and effect maintains balance in what appears to be absolute chaos. This in effect, is natural justice. Eastern philosophies call it Karma. In the Western world they say “what goes around, comes around”. In any case, this is the Law of the Circle.

Karma however, is not about punishment. It is about growth and learning, directly through life experience. It is life’s way of teaching through ‘meeting self’. We are often taught lessons that are easily forgotten or never practised. But if you look back in time and analyse, whatever is learned through life experience, will be remembered forever. Even if the conscious mind forgets it, the soul carries the experience with it. As I have written in my blog The Karma of Choice, the conscious mind cannot remember everything that has ever happened throughout time, because the conscious mind is finite. It is the soul that carries these experiences to your future. The pleasure of lovemaking, the pain of betrayal; these form a Karmic connection between two individuals and this connection remains with you, until you work towards becoming Karma clear.

A reincarnating soul brings a specific plan for the body, in this life. It brings a list of lessons to learn and connections to re-establish from the past relationships. There could be a love left unrequited by you in the past. In this case, your reincarnation list will carry one unrequited love for you. No, this is not punishment. It can be a compensation for past misunderstanding or injustice. It can also be fulfilling of an unrequited love that was left incomplete due to death. Or it can be a meaningful contribution to the world.
